Projects
Here are some example projects that we have been involved with:
Project 1 - Flatbed Fall Prevention Platforms
These platforms help to prevent falls from flatbed trailers whilst securing equipment or loads or placing tarpaulins. We have produced many of these platforms for companies such as EDF Energy, Skanska and Morrisroe Construction. Please click here to take you to our website for further details.
Project 2 - Grader
After being approached by Kiely Brothers (Construction Company involved in Roadworks/Infastructure) we designed and developed the 'GW2500 Grader' which is a Grantham Fabrications product now marketed in its own right. After field trials with Kiely Brothers feedback was positive with improved work rates resulting in further orders.

Project 3 - Flowserve pump bases
Worked closely with a local company called Flowserve to produce a series of pump bases which could be capable of operating in temperatures of -50c. Sourced Cryogenic materials and produced weld procedures in conjunction with clients to complete manufacture of these high specification fabrications.
Project 4 - Corus feed hopper vibration shoots
Worked as a liason company between client and end customer (Corus) to produce 2no 8 Tonne stainless steel feed hopper vibration shoots for the material handling industry, had to overcome/develop methods of manufacture to achieve final assembly.
Project 5 - Aggregate industry trackline crawler systems
Remanufacture/modify to customers requests trackline frames for the aggregate industry. One of our specialities is to work with customers as a research and development house to achieve all client aims under one roof. We have all the in-house facilities to fabricate and machine most if not all projects quickly with minimal fuss to exceptional standards.
Project 6 - Balfour Beatty Piling Mast
Working closely with this renowned national construction company we refurbished one of these masts. Once it had been out in the field for some 6 months, it was found to out perform similar piling rigs by up to 20%. Consequently we were asked to manufacture a further two.
