cnc fibre laser
product overview
Precision laser cutting starts with understanding exactly what the finished component needs to achieve. At Grantham Fabrications, our laser cutting service combines modern CNC technology with practical engineering experience, allowing us to produce accurate components efficiently from prototype quantities through to larger production runs.
Using our TRUMPF TruLaser 5030 fibre laser, we can cut sheet material up to 3,000 × 1,500 mm, producing clean, accurate profiles across a wide range of applications. From simple brackets and plates to complex components with intricate profiles, holes and cut-outs, the process provides excellent repeatability and consistency from part to part.
Every job begins with the correct material, thickness and CAD data being established before the parts are programmed and efficiently nested onto the sheet. This helps us make the best possible use of the available material, reducing unnecessary waste while maintaining an efficient production process.
Our laser cutting capability can be used as a standalone service or as part of a complete manufacturing package. Once cut, components can move directly into our other in-house processes, including press brake forming, fabrication, welding and assembly, allowing multiple stages of a project to be managed under one roof.
Whether you require a one-off prototype, replacement component or a larger batch of production parts, our combination of TRUMPF laser technology, CAD capability and experienced engineering team allows us to produce components accurately and consistently, with the wider manufacturing requirements of the project considered from the outset.
